Johnny Polley is idolized amongst Saint John locals for standing up to the evil corporate oligarch, Senior Dulse, 20 years ago, putting an end to the First Car Wash War of Saint John. However, when the series begins, Johnny Polley is forced into early retirement, leaving the business to his daughter, Kayla Polley.

Kayla is excited to claim her independence as a female business owner, but her independence is quickly cut short, when Senior Dulse’s son, Mister Dulse, begins developing an automated car wash in direct competition. Mister Dulse, as rich as he is intensely insecure, aims to sabotage Kayla and the Polley Wash to ensure he can avenge his father by winning a Second Car Wash War!
