Meg decides to uplift her spirits by joining Spin classes after a disappointing birthday bash. Meg meets the intimidating yet persuasive instructor, Jessika, and runs into Carla. In the midst of Carla’s bubbly banter Meg reluctantly agrees to attend Carla's New Year's Eve party. Despite initial struggles, Meg gets goes on a journey of endorphins during the class and ends up feeling invigorated (and a little nauseas) and surprised by additional class charges and her commitment to the party.
