After last year’s Christmas debacle, John has plans to rest and relax in his very own fortress of solitude, letting all his worries slip away. However, the Missus and her band of furry friends have other ideas.

New year, new John. John starts the process of job seeking, hoping to land a new career, and in the process secures an interview at an advertising agency in town. The Missus isn’t convinced John is cut out to be a mad man, but that won’t stop him from trying.

John is full of positivity as he goes after his dream job in full force. While the Missus, as per usual, does everything in her power to keep him grounded. But that doesn’t deter him from wowing the local ad agency.

After landing his dream job, John begins to feel insecure about his abilities as anxiety creeps in. He seeks out help from an old friend. The Missus shares those same feelings of insecurity, though for vastly different reasons, as she does pulls out all the stops to capture his attention.

John is concerned by both the direction his new job is taking and the health of the Missus. He is wracked by guilt about both. The Missus leaves the basement, perhaps for good. Forcing John to come to grips with some harsh realities.

Beside himself with guilt and loneliness, John faces a life without the Missus. A huge void has opened inside of him, forcing him to focus on the things that mean most. Meanwhile, the Missus is adjusting well to her new surroundings.

John hatches a plan to rescue the Missus with Trina and her new lover Spook. The unlikely trio work together to try and save the Missus. While the Missus, not not necessarily wanting to be saved, is living and loving her life inside the walls of Holy Redeemer.
